Pass­ing by Wilshire Boule­vard, it’s im­pos­si­ble to miss the Wilshire Boule­vard Tem­ple. Its grand dome, a land­mark on the LA sky­line, beck­oned me in. In­side, the space is breath­tak­ing – think Byzan­tine-Moor­ish de­sign on an epic scale. It’s or­nate, yes, but man­ages to feel sur­pris­ing­ly in­ti­mate and peace­ful. I spent a while just soak­ing up the at­mos­phere and ad­mir­ing the stained-glass win­dows. It’s def­i­nite­ly worth pop­ping in for a mo­ment of re­flec­tion if you’re in the area.
