Down a qui­et side street, away from the busiest tourist ar­eas, we found Sis­ter Srey Cafe.  The at­mos­phere is su­per re­laxed, and it seems to be pop­u­lar with lo­cals and tourists in the know. 

The menu has a great mix of Khmer and West­ern dish­es with­out break­ing the bank. We went for their fa­mous Khmer cur­ry – the broth was so fla­vor­ful! –  but the cakes and pas­tries looked amaz­ing, too. 

The staff are all in­cred­i­bly kind and help­ful, and they even have free Wi-Fi, which is al­ways a bonus. If you're af­ter a fan­tas­tic cafe ex­pe­ri­ence in Siem Reap, put Sis­ter Srey on your list; you won't re­gret it!
