Silver Pagoda

About

Entering the Silver Pagoda, or as it’s locally known, the Temple of the Emerald-Buddha, is like stepping into a treasure box. Every surface shimmers with intricate Cambodian craftsmanship, each detail whispering stories of a rich history. Golden and silver Buddha statues capture the eye, their serene faces adorned with a breathtaking array of jewels. Yet, the most captivating sight lies directly underfoot: an astounding floor constructed from over 5,000 shimmering silver tiles, meticulously placed to create an unforgettable spectacle. More than a place of worship, this temple is a voyage into the spirit of Cambodian devotion, leaving a profound impression on everyone fortunate to enter its hallowed halls.
