Step­ping in­side the Dan­ish Po­lice Mu­se­um, we were in­stant­ly trans­port­ed back in time. Housed with­in a grand 18th-cen­tu­ry build­ing, the mu­se­um presents a cap­ti­vat­ing jour­ney through the his­to­ry of Dan­ish law en­force­ment. Show­cas­es over­flow with fas­ci­nat­ing ar­ti­facts, from an­tique uni­forms and weapon­ry to in­trigu­ing in­ves­tiga­tive tools. We were es­pe­cial­ly drawn to ex­hibits re­count­ing tales of renowned de­tec­tives and the of­ten-hid­den in­tri­ca­cies of their pro­fes­sion. Walk­ing out, we looked upon the city with new eyes, our un­der­stand­ing of crime and jus­tice sig­nif­i­cant­ly broad­ened by this thought-pro­vok­ing ex­pe­ri­ence.
