Look­ing for a break from clas­sic French fare? On our re­cent trip, we stum­bled upon Le Coq Por­tu­gais in the 94th ar­rondisse­ment and were in­stant­ly smit­ten. This restau­rant de­liv­ers a gen­uine taste of Por­tu­gal, of­fer­ing a de­light­ful es­cape with­out ever leav­ing the city. We ditched our usu­al crois­sants one morn­ing and dove head­first into their tra­di­tion­al cui­sine. Each mouth­ful was an ex­plo­sion of fla­vor that trans­port­ed us straight to Lis­bon. It was a fan­tas­tic change of pace and we guar­an­tee you'll be crav­ing more.
