Some ho­tels are just a base for ex­plo­ration; Ho­tel Cap­puc­ci­no is the des­ti­na­tion. The ground-floor Grand Café is where Pal­ma’s so­cial life tru­ly un­folds, a so­phis­ti­cat­ed mix of styl­ish lo­cals and in-the-know trav­el­ers. Af­ter a day of sight­see­ing, we con­stant­ly found our­selves drawn back, not to our room, but to the mag­net­ic en­er­gy down­stairs. The clink­ing of glass­es and low hum of con­ver­sa­tion are in­tox­i­cat­ing. It's the kind of place where one planned drink eas­i­ly turns into three. Hon­est­ly, stay­ing here feels less like be­ing a tourist and more like you’ve been in­vit­ed into Pal­ma’s chic in­ner cir­cle.
