Frederik's Church

About

Frederik's Church, affectionately known as the Marble Church by Copenhageners, is an absolute must-see. Completed in 1894, this impressive Baroque masterpiece showcases the most expansive church dome in Scandinavia, a prominent landmark easily admired from afar. Upon entering, prepare to be awestruck by the brilliant white marble and intricate frescos adorning the high arches overhead. For a truly special experience, ascend the 400 steps to the dome's gallery and witness the sweeping views of Copenhagen. And be sure to experience one of the hourly organ concerts that fill this magnificent structure with incredible music.
