You might not think a fire sta­tion would be a point of in­ter­est on a Lon­don ad­ven­ture, but a glimpse of Clapham Fire Sta­tion (H21) is a fas­ci­nat­ing look into a vi­tal ser­vice. Lon­don's fire and res­cue teams are some of the busiest in the world, and the skill and brav­ery they ex­hib­it dai­ly pro­tect­ing the city is re­mark­able. Though you can't tour the sta­tion it­self, ad­mir­ing its ar­chi­tec­ture and imag­in­ing the ac­tiv­i­ty with­in its walls is a great re­minder of the every­day he­roes work­ing around the clock.
