Af­ter a long day ex­plor­ing Copen­hagen, some­times you just crave some­thing straight­for­ward and sat­is­fy­ing. That's when we stum­bled upon City Ke­bab on Am­ager­bro­gade. Don't let the name fool you, this place is a lo­cal fa­vorite for a rea­son. Their menu is packed with Turk­ish clas­sics, from juicy dön­er ke­babs to fla­vor­ful lentil soup and sa­vory pide. We opt­ed for a mixed grill plat­ter, and it was more than enough for two hun­gry trav­el­ers. The por­tions were gen­er­ous, the prices were easy on the wal­let, and the friend­ly ser­vice added to the al­ready buzzing at­mos­phere.
