Beijing National Aquatics Center

About

The Beijing National Aquatics Center, known affectionately as the Water Cube, should be on everyone's Beijing itinerary. Though initially built for the 2008 Olympics, this architectural marvel has transformed into a captivating aquatic paradise. The ethereal beauty of the jellyfish, with their graceful and almost hypnotic movements, captivated us within their illuminated tanks. The sheer variety of marine life was astounding – from agile predators to playful creatures of

the abyss, there was something to amaze everyone. We even encountered ancient reptiles and the fascinating inhabitants of the Pacific. For adventure-seekers, the Olympic-sized pool provides an opportunity for a swim, while thrilling slides guarantee an adrenaline rush. If unwinding is more your style, the serene leisure pool offers the perfect escape. The Beijing National Aquatics Center is a distinctive and unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.
